Dear Reader,

I wanted to share a personal story that I hope will inspire you to embrace your own perfect timing.

For the longest time, I had reservations about starting a podcast. I worried that my voice sounded terrible—honestly, like my brother's! I preferred video, thinking people would focus more on the screen than my voice. Last November, I announced my plans to start a podcast, but I kept putting it off. I convinced myself that nobody would listen, nobody would like my voice, I wouldn't have anything to say, and the tech would be too hard to figure out.

Then, four months ago, life threw me a curveball. My kids came home from school sick, and soon after, we all had pneumonia. It was a rough two weeks, and it took me an extra week to recover. Just as the nausea and dizziness were starting to fade, I decided I was going to record a podcast in two days. Despite my doubts, I promised myself I'd do it.

Two days later, with my voice back, I recorded my first podcast. I had so many topic ideas, but I just went for it. With the kids back at school, I spent a day researching how to edit the audio, create the cover page, get an RSS feed, and open accounts on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. Within 24 hours, my first podcast was uploaded.

I can't believe I put it off for almost six months! My point is, when you are truly ready, nothing will stop you. The right time will feel surprisingly easy. Don't feel bad if you haven't started that thing you always wanted to start. When the universe tells you it's time, it simply is. Divine timing means it will happen regardless of any doubts—you will just find yourself moving forward, and your mind will play catch-up.

I'm sharing this to remind you that whatever you want to do, you will accomplish it when you are truly ready. The right time is your time. Nobody else's.
